Our objective is to stimulate creative dialogue with our clients to optimise total project value. SPD has no commercial drivers from any other product lines, meaning that SPD will always recommend what is best suited to the work scope. This ensures that technical recommendations, equipment and materials are fit for purpose, thus maximising return on investment for our clients.

Organisation and People

The SPD team is structured like an Operators conventional well engineering department. The team has multi-disciplined personnel who can perform stand alone drilling projects or manage entire projects, including project planning, well design and costing, obtaining the relevant regulatory approvals, contracting of all services, operations management, and project close-out.

Professionalism and Progression

The SPD Drilling Management System, WellAtlas^® controls all our operations. SPD believe in a commitment to thorough planning and a focus on performance improvement. All planning/studies performed are peer reviewed in-house. For larger operations SPD perform in-house a DWOP and Risk Review.

Flexibility

SPD provide solutions tailored to the specific requirements of our clients, from full drilling project management services through discrete engineering studies to provision of individual consultants. SPD is ideally suited to performing drilling programmes for smaller oil companies lacking such resources themselves.
