At SPD we believe that effective Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) management is a key performance objective and is absolutely paramount at all times. The Company operates and maintains an integrated HSEQ Management System to ensure the following key areas are delivered:

SPD also participates in Petrofac's internal safety campaign, Horizon Zero - which won the UK Offshore Contractor's Association (OCA) safety award in 2006 - and was rolled out across the group in 2008.

Quality

SPD is certified by the Achilles Joint Qualification System as a qualified supplier in the Oil & Gas Industry in Norway & Denmark. In accordance to this, SPD is also accredited with First Point Assessment (FPAL).

SPD management system and product lines are fully accredited to ISO9001:2008. SPD also has a Safety Management System which has been developed in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 18001.
